Carwarden House Does Pizza Express!!
This year Carwarden House School have teamed up with Camberley Pizza Express to help run sessions for our students. These sessions enable our students to see what happens behind the scenes at restaurants, it also gave them the opportunity to try out some new flavours!
In this session they were able to make their own pizza to take home with them. They explained the whole process from start to finish and then we got a chance to copy it for our own pizzas!
We practised our number skills, measuring, following instructions, reading skills and of course their home-skills!
The students loved this alternative way of learning and they gained a lot from this experience. Who wouldn't love it this kind of learning when you get a pizza out of it!
