Uniform
Please see below the agreed and authorised options for school uniform for all students in Years 7 to 11. Parental support is greatly appreciated in ensuring all students adhere to this dress code.
Plain white collared shirt / blouse / polo shirt
School tie (not to be worn with polo shirt and only from our suppliers)
Black / grey trousers (‘formal” shorts in warmer weather if preferred, ‘regular’ not ‘skinny’ fit)
Black / grey skirt (to just above knee)
Black / grey pinafore dress (blue & white checked dress for summer term)
Plain navy sweatshirt (ideally with school logo)
Plain navy cardigan (ideally with school logo)
Blazer (with school logo and only from our suppliers)
Navy ‘Zoodie’ – hoodie with full length zip (with school logo purchased only from our suppliers)
Black school shoes or plain entirely black trainers (no visible logos)
All students also require the following PE kit
Navy / black sports shorts
Plain white T-shirt
Trainers (different to those if worn in school)
Black or navy tracksuit (for outdoor PE in cold weather – School ‘Zoodie’ may also be worn.
Swim wear (including swim hat) and towel
All items should be clearly marked with owner's name.
The following items are not permitted
Any hoodie, jumper, sweat shirt, cardigan, tracksuit top or jacket other than those listed above
Leggings worn without a skirt
Jeans or denim trousers
Skirts considered too high about the knee
High heeled / platform shoes, non-black trainers, open sandals
Piercings
For obvious safety reasons, piercings are not permitted other than one per ear lobe. The only earrings that may be worn are plain metal sleeper studs. Please note all earrings must be removed for P.E. and games in accordance with School Policy. Staff will not assist with the removal of studs or be responsible for their safe keeping.
Jewellery
Any form of jewellery other than a single stud in each ear is not permitted unless on strict religious grounds (a wristwatch / ’fitbit’ is permitted).
Hair
Bleached / multi-coloured hair styles are not permitted. Neither are ‘steps’ or tramlines cut into the hair or partially or fully shaved hair styles. Make-up, coloured nail varnish or false nails are not permitted.

Simply go to the website address, then select ‘Find My School’ and follow the order instructions.
There are no minimum order quantities and your uniform will be delivered directly to your chosen address. As well as approved school uniform with our logo, you will also be able to order plain items such as trousers, skirts and shirts. Other ordering information including sizes, delivery information and the returns procedure is also available online.
In exceptional circumstances orders can be made via school by completing the form overleaf and sending in to the School Office together with payment in cash or cheque payable to ‘Carwarden House School’. We do keep a small selection of uniform items for you to view and try in school.
The Headteacher is the final arbiter on the suitability of uniform and appearance. If in doubt ask at the office.

We'll be working with HoodieHut this year. They provide hoodies for schools across the UK and have been doing so for over 10 years.
The hoodies will be delivered to the school at the end of May.
