We have covered the school and Sixth form in poppies to commemorate 100 years since the cease fire of the First World War.
To help commemorate Remembrance Day we have covered the School and the Sixth Form in Poppies. All the students across the school and Sixth Form have helped make the poppies and put them up.
On Wednesday we had Stuart from St Peters Parish come and join us for a Remembrance assembly. He spoke all about why we have Remembrance Day and what we do to remember all the soldiers that have fought for us in the World Wars and the ones who continue to fight for us today.
This has been an amazing experience for our students to understand why we have a minutes silence on Remembrance Day and why it is important for them to partake in it. It has got all the students really involved in this occasion and has given them understanding as to why we are making all these poppies and how important it is to fundraise for them.
