Summer Fun for Carwardians

Summer Fun for Carwardians

It's lovely to see Carwarden House students doing great things over the summer. Read more here about what Theo, Rachel, Zoe, Alfie and Becky have been up to and how you can help.

Theo, Rachel, Zoe, Alfie and Becky have been having a great time at their summer camp. This is organised each year by the East Berkshire Down Syndrome Support Group which is a charity made up of a group of parents. The camp is run by speech therapists and speech therapy student volunteers and you can see in the video below what fun they've had!

The charity fundraise intensively to ensure they can offer the camp to parents at a heavily subsidised rate, with the charity raising money to fund 85% of the cost. Could you help with their fundraising efforts? If so, contact the school and we'll put you in touch.
