Wellbeing Award

One of our strategic priorities is to promote the well-being and positive mental health of everyone in our community and we were very excited to have achieved the Wellbeing award for schools in July 2019!

This whole-school award focuses on ensuring effective practice and provision is in place that promotes the emotional wellbeing and mental health of both staff and pupils. The award focused on changing the long-term culture of the whole school.  It has helped us deliver staff and pupil wellbeing, review our staff training, and revise our policies. This award has ensured that mental health and wellbeing sit at the heart of our school life. The award is developed in partnership with the National Children's Bureau (NCB).
