In the October half-term Michael Munro travelled to Ireland and back completely unaccompanied and without a hitch! Michael’s parents knew that he would be fine on the return journey from Knock Airport in the west of Ireland  as it's tiny, but Gatwick Airport is huge. This didn't phase Michael at all, so whilst his parents were wondering if he’d gone through security (they didn't see him go past), he was already waiting at the boarding gate without a care in the world, having shown his passport and boarding pass.

He had a lovely holiday with his grandparents and flew back four days later. He even had to wait at Gatwick Airport for his parents to arrive as they were stuck on the M25 for ages.

This as a massive personal achievement for Michael. He loves travelling and now the world is his oyster!
